Thisiteration was to think about how shared space is shaped by people in thebusiness zone and residential neighbourhoods. The landscape was divided by therising hills in the center, the trees on the left side that belongs to theresidential zone create a naturally divided from noise, crowded festive orperformance. Guarantee children’s playground safety and a relaxed atmosphere forstrolling through the gentle gradient. For the space adjacent to the businesszone, the slope was less flat and more density to the invisible centerline,giving space to the large plaza that served multiple cultural activities.
This landscape’s target groups are children, parents, and local citizens, therefore attractive factors like small hills, low-lying basins, and water elements were added. Through concentrating on the term study – “actions of no harm” in social space research, the maximum height of landscape will be 0.6m, while the lowest point for the playground will be 0.8m, protecting citizens, especially youth and seniors accidentally fall. By adding infrastructures and greenery into different function zone, the presence of urban green spaces can encourage positive social interactions that build connections through the neighbourhood that could enhance health and well-being.
